How to get started!

Teams must get registered soon, as there a limited number of teams allowed internationally each year and registration ends when those slots are filled.  This usually happens in early September of each year!

NDFLL Championship Tournament registration will happen in November.  Watch this site for the form and other information.

UND’s School of Engineering and Mines is the FIRST LEGO League Robotics North Dakota Official Tournament Partner. In this role, the School is organizing not only North Dakota’s annual tournament, but is also serving as a clearinghouse for all North Dakota teams interested in participating in FIRST LEGO League Robotics and for all potential team and event sponsors in North Dakota.

Potential ND teams and sponsors are asked to download the North Dakota Tournament registration packet and to peruse the FIRST Jr. Robotics web site at http://www.usfirst.org/community/fll/default.aspx?id=970 for program updates, national registration, and information.

Team Preparation hints are at:  http://www.usfirst.org/community/fll/content.aspx?id=788

TEAMS Q&A:  It is very important for teams to read the Q&A periodically to get the most up-to-date interpretations of the missions, rules, etc.  This can be found at:  http://www.usfirst.org/uploadedFiles/Community/FLL/CC-QA-Rulings-1.pdf

Programming help is at:  http://www.usfirst.org/community/fll/content.aspx?id=790

Field Setup: Be sure to follow the instructions found at http://www.usfirst.org/uploadedFiles/Community/FLL/CC-FIELD-SETUP.pdf when setting up your field and table.

Dual Lock: It is very important that you follow the instructions provided on the Challenge web site for application of the dual lock to adhere the challenge pieces to the mat, as your robot will behave differently if the pieces are not attached the same as they will be at the competition.
